The MN Scottish Fair & Highland Games

What:
The MN Scottish Fair & Highland Games returns to the Dakota County Fairgrounds for their second year. You don't have to be Scottish to enjoy a day of Scottish heritage and traditions including; sports, music, dance, food, children's activities, cultural information, and exhibitors.
Admission:
$15 General Admission
$10 Seniors (over 65)
$5 Students (age 6 - 15)
Discounts are available on advanced ticket purchases

Olde World Renaissance Faire

What:
Step back in time to the village of Brikenhar. Partake in an atmosphere of smells, sights, and sounds that encompass an Olde World aura. Learn bits of history and lore from Europe during the years 1200 - 1700: a period where artisans made each item by hand, and the items had meaning and purpose in everyday life. The resident dragon and mythical unicorn, trade merchants, medieval music and entertainment, historic education, games of skill, and delicious food are all nestled in a secluded enchanted meadow.

The Minnesota Irish Fair

What:
A world class gathering of Irish music, dance, food, children's activities, cultural information, sports, and exhibitors. This fair is now the fastest growing festival in Minnesota, so whether you're Irish or not, join thousands of people from throughout the Upper Midwest for the biggest Irish celebration of the summer!

The Wisconsin Highland Games

What:
A fun filled weekend of Celtic culture, including: highland dancers, pipers and drummers, the caber toss, tugs of war, border collies herding sheep, a knight in full armor, living history, a marketplace full of exotic goods, a pub with fine ales and the music of the British Isles, competitions in the harp, the longbow, and the feats of strength.
